I suspect we'll be in a cycle of learning how-to do-good work for a while, especially at the rate artificial intelligence develops, and the rate at which the humans develop products with and around AI. Using your MP3 example, I hope we avoid parallelism for that experience--the iPod, for all its bluster, was still a marketing success and an inaccessible price point for many people. I'm hopeful it won't be the case with AI products, and I'm excited for a future where the world is more accessible through AI. Thanks for an inspiring read, Justin. I for one, am excited for this brave new world.
Totally agree on the price point of the iPod. I never owned one! I'm loving your posts too. I love seeing the backstory of what inspired people to start creating things. It's also really exciting to hear about people coming alive and finding creativity they didn't know was there. The prompt-sharing idea is also really creative and great for community building. It's exciting times. Please keep them coming!
There are some amazing stories coming! People have been very vulnerable in their sharing. I was a late iPod adopter, I can't remember how I acquired mine but it was a "free giveaway" in college (see: student loans). I'm glad you're enjoying the stories, if you have any ideas or feedback, I'd gladly welcome it! Looking forward to more of your musings, Maestro. Keep 'em coming, too!
